NAGO FOR HAITI
We are pleased to announce that the Fund Raising Event that took place on February 2, 2010 at Zebulon, 258 Whyte Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, for the people of Haiti, went extremely well. We appreciate the way everyone who came out participated to make this Event a success. Thank you!!!!
We were able to raise $1,406.00 in contributions.
Thanks, also, to the musicians and everyone who helped make this Event possible. We could not have done it without you.
As a result of the monies we raised we have been helping several families, groups and neighborhoods.
- We placed an order for food to be delivered to the people of Haiti through Unitransfer, which is located at 2804 Church Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11226, telephone number 718-893-7935 @ www.unitransfer.com and is licensed as a money transmitter by the New York State Banking Department.
- The food we ordered could provide nutritious meals for more than four hundred and fifty (450) displaced persons. It consisted of rice, oil and beans in the following amounts:
- 19 (120 lb) bags of rice
- 19 (25 lb) bags of beans
- 57 Gallons of oil

Hinche Bel Air Carrefour
Leogane Clercine Fond Des NegresTo everyone who attended and to those who could not attend our Event, we want you to know that Haiti’s long journey to recovery is not over. It is outstanding that a small group as NAGO FOR HAITI was able to accomplish so much with this amount of money. We want to encourage you to continue to donate funds to help and to do so through smaller groups that are genuine and transparent instead of to larger organizations where the funds seem to disappear. Donations of new or slightly worn children’s clothing are also very welcome.
Thank you!!!
